Happy Birthday sweet girl!
She loves playing with toys, eating, sleeping (she still takes two 2 hour naps each day), baths, balls, being outside, eating bark at the park, her cousins, music.
She dislikes headbands, laying down to get her diaper changed and dressed, her ears cleaned, and loud noises.
We love you sweet Maddie May!

Sickies here.....
Well first Miss Maddie was sick and then me and then Sammy (hopefully Jake will stay clear)! So we are still sick and staying inside away from humankind. Makes for a long not fun week. We have tried to make the most of it. This is my favorite thing of my girls doing-looking outside the window. oh and yes, it has been so nice outside this week too of course which makes it even worse to be stuck inside.
And the worst part too is that I have a new little nephew who I can't see. My sister Missy had her baby Riley Ben Hendricks 7.5 lbs and 20.5 inches long on Nov. 2nd, 2009. And he is so adorable. I can't wait to hold him!

And now it's over
Pumpkin Carving
Friday the 30th
Sammy couldn't wait the day of the pumpkin carving. She was so excited. She also loved going to the pumpkin patch and picking out her very own little pumpkin. She did very well with her Daddy's help!
She even picked out the face!
The Jenne's came over to join in on the pumpkin carving festivities (tradition really).
from left to right Bat (michelle), silly face (sammy), happy face (christine), haunted house (Jenn), and skeleton (Jake)
moving on to
Trick or Treating
Halloween night
so cute they are all chickens (Ryder and Carter)
All in all , it has been a fun last week. How quick October came and went! The funny thing about trick or treating was that even though there was about 6 of them ages 1-5, they would all get on the doorstep and none of them would say a word! Probably the quietest group of trick or treaters ever! By the end of the night, they got the hang of it though and Sammy came back with quite a lot of loot which she was excited about! She also loved passing out the candy when we came home. She just sat by the door holding the bucket of candy and said she was waiting for the trick or treaters. I thought Halloween would be kind of lame since I am old, but it's pretty fun and exciting just watching your kids have such a fun time!
