ever feel like this?

I think I feel about this tired every day, I just don't get to show it. Sammy was so tired after visiting Grandma and Papa that she didn't even want me to take off her jacket! Even little kiddles get worn out after awhile!

Maddie's 4 mo. stats

So here are Maddie's 4 mo stats:
Height: 24 1/2 inches
Weight: 14.4 lbs
She is in the 60th percentile for height and 75th percentile for weight! Go chubbs! Here are some pics of the girls in their cute matching Easter dresses!

All because Dad didn't let me go to beauty school....

How was I supposed to know that Jake didn't put the right size comb on the clipper before cutting his hair! This was Sunday morning before church so not much we could do about it. I think he may be wearing a hoodie for a few weeks until it grows back in! I feel so bad but hey I am NOT a trained beautician and don't claim to be one.

Sammy and her prayers

So this last week, Jake's mom has been in the hospital and yesterday was released to go home and we are so grateful for that! Sammy has included Grandma in her prayers every day since she has been sick. Well tonight before her prayers, she said that she was going to bless grandma in the hospital. We told her that she came home, but she didn't really listen to us. Anyhow, in her actual prayer she said "bless grandma in the circus" and Jake and I tried to not bust out laughing but we did anyways. We didn't know that grandma was a circus performer! After I said "did you mean hospital instead of circus" and she said "yeah grandma in the circus, no i mean hospital". Funny huh?

Maddie is the best

sleeper ever. She slept from 7:30 last night until 7:30 this morning, with no feedings in between. I am so proud of her. Sammy never slept that long and still doesn't. I think we have got a good little sleeper on our hands and I hope it stays that way!

morning errands and......

Sammy turned and said to Maddie " You are my best friend." So cute huh? I then asked Sammy "Maddie is your best friend" and she said "yes, she is my favorite best friend". Hopefully these two will be bff as they get older but as least it is starting out good!

(I told Jake this later tonight and he informed me that Sammy told HIM that he was her best friend yesterday, so I guess everyone except me has got the best friend line)

so i attempted a photo shoot this afternoon because Jake has really been wanting a pic of the girls together! this is what i got between maddie wiggling, sammy giggling, and maddie's drool!

SO BUSY

So the last two weeks have been so busy and insane that I just realized that I haven't blogged forever. Between getting two new lines of paper out, finishing the playroom, and a family funeral, the time has just flown by! and tomorrow is Jake's big 27 b-day, so we have been planning the WORKS! Anyhow, I took these pics today of Sammy and Taylor playing the backyard. We got to have Tay for the day and Sammy had a lot of fun!

Look what I did

or really what Jake did! I got the idea from Maegen because she made an adorable shirt for Sammy and so we decided to make some for Maddie. Jake actually sewed on this heart, and then I sewed on some others that I ended up giving to my new little cousin, Macie, who is adorable! Anyhow, it's a great way to spruce up a onesie and easy with just some scraps!
