Christmas was pretty eventful for the Jenne's this year. Besides having a one month old baby, everything was pretty great. We had a great Christmas dinner with the Jenne's last Sunday, a few days before Christmas, which included a turkey with all the fixings! Yum! Yum! We then opened up presents. Some of the fun things we received are Wii fit, tools, and camera stuff. Even Maddie got a few presents-which included a baby mobile for her crib (which hopefully she will use soon). Unfortunately, I have no pics from this event but I think some were taken. Jake and I exchanged presents on Christmas Eve before we headed up to my parents house. He received some new skiis, shoes, and camera bag. I received the Silhouette, Ginger font, vinyl to use with my new diecut machine, and David Archuletta cd. We then pretty much packed up our house and headed to my parents house. We had a great Christmas Eve dinner with everyone and then had a gingerbread house contest that was lots of fun. We then watched Fred Claus and ended up going to bed around midnight. My sister was nice and watched Maddie for the night so I even got some sleep since we didn't wake up until 8:00! Santa surely came and brought lots of fun things. My parents got Jake and I a patio table set that I had been really wanting. Sammy received a wagon that fits two that I am so excited for! We then spent the day playing games and Wii fit, and eating to our heart's content. We went sledding during the kids naps which was fun and even got our SUV stuck in the snow since there was so much of it! Everyone loved holding Maddie and were always fighting over her, so it was a nice break for me. All in all, we had another great Christmas!

Two week photos
Last week we tried to take Maddie's two week photos along with Sammy's 2 1/2 year photos. Neither of the girls were really cooperating but we got a couple good ones!

We found Maddie like this
buried in stuffed animals thanks to her big sister Sammy. Sammy is always giving her toys and animals to play with, which unfortunately Maddie doesn't even care about yet! Although, she does care when she is completely smothered! I love that Sammy is such a sweet big sister and always trying to help and take care of Maddie.
