Happy V day!

A fun Valentines day was had by all. We were watching Sammy's cousins and so during the day we went to the park since it was a whole 53 degrees outside. It looked warm when the sun was out but as soon as we got there, the sun went away:( So we played with friends, made cupcakes, the kids had pizza for dinner and everyone was in bed by 7:30. Jake suprised me with a bouquet of my favorite gerber daisy flowers and mint chocolates from Rocky Mountain chocolates which I LOVE. How did he know? After the kids went to bed we ordered Cafe Rio and watched a movie. All in all it was a fun day!!!

Maddie is potty trained!!! (well mostly)

I think anyways!! She has only had one accident in the last week or so (the basket incident). She is loving her panties although for some reason lately she loves taking them off and just walking around carefree!!! (Actually I think she is right now as I am blogging) I am so proud of her and it is so nice. She was so difficult and stubborn since I have started and stopped 3 different times in the last five months. She still only stays dry at night half the time, but hopefully we will get there soon!!! Yay Maddie May!!

Our new pet

Rudy which Sammy named and we have now had for almost a month. He is doing here what he loves best-EATING hay. The girls just adore him and I have to say for a pet that he is not that bad. He is mostly in his cage, learning to be potty trained (hence the liter box which he is sitting in), and does come out a few times a day and runs around and plays with us.

visiting my far away sister

the last week in Cedar City involved a lot of:

Movie watching

Playing hide and seek
(Funny story while I thought Maddie was being all cute hiding in this corner in the basket, she was actually going to the bathroom-yes in the basket)

Painting projects
(which I will post when mine is finished, and yes, I let the girls paint without shirts because I didn't have aprons for them but at least the pictures are modest!)

Little blue handed girl
(think she enjoyed painting her hands more than her block)

and the only shot I have of my dear sister Emily.
We also made lots of sweets and yummy food, played lots of games, the girls rode bikes and played at the park, sewing and painting project, and just hung out!! It was fun and I can't wait till we play again.
